Discover your full potential – join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy.Your Role:Performing electrical power design for variety of projects to include but not limited to: buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential, hotel and office, and other commercial and institutional projects.Incorporating design changes using AutoCad and/or Revit softwarePerforming service load calculations and short circuit studiesMeeting project schedules and performing work with budgetary constraintsAttend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss future or current projectsReviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for InformationConduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standardsMentor and train junior engineers on project teamPursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awarenessWork in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concernsAdditional duties as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.5-10 years of experience in the design of building power systems for high rise residential, hotel, and office buildings, and other commercial, institutional and healthcare facilities.Proficient with the use of AutoCAD and Revit software.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skillsComprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standardsAbility to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environmentPE registration is highly preferred, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E.Willingness and ability to travel as neededLife at Tetra Tech includes:Comprehensive and market-competitive benefitsMerit-based financial rewards.Flexibility and company-wide commitment to work/life balance.Collaborative team atmosphere that values the contributions of all employees.Learning and development opportunities for ongoing professional growth.Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience.
