Responsibilities
Manage projects, including proposal and report writing for corrosion/integrity-related projects.
Participate in planning, design, construction, and operation of cathodic protection and corrosion monitoring systems.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and governing agencies.
Provide cathodic protection guidance to internal and external groups.
Oversee required readings and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Supervise pipeline electrical and integrity management surveys.
Design, install, operate, and troubleshoot cathodic protection systems.
Create and follow up on remediation work orders.
Conduct QA/QC checks on surveys performed by technicians.
Calibrate equipment as needed and mentor fellow employees.
Requirements
Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Field inspection and investigation experience in corrosion control.
Knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 192 & 195.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Organizational skills for managing project schedules and budgets.
Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple projects.
Valid driver's license and safe work practices.
Ability to work independently and travel within the service area.
Preferred Skills
AMPP/NACE CP and CIP Level 1 certifications.
Knowledge of AC/DC systems, corrosion-related NEC, and AMPP/NACE standards.
Experience with safe handling practices of gas and liquids.
