With proprietary antibody discovery and engineering platforms, AI-enabled drug discovery capabilities, and a global network of pharmaceutical and biotechnology partnersJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Develop and execute a corporate venture capital investment strategy aligned with company's corporate objectives.Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in biotechnology, innovative therapeutics, drug discovery platforms, and emerging life sciences technologies.Lead investment due diligence, including scientific, clinical, commercial, financial, and strategic assessments.Build relationships with venture capital firms, institutional investors, biotechnology founders, and other strategic investors.Identify opportunities to establish or co-found new biotechnology ventures based on company's proprietary technologies, scientific assets, and external innovation opportunities.Manage a portfolio of strategic investments and maintain oversight of investment performance and strategic alignment.Build a global network of biotechnology companies, academic institutions, venture capital firms, and innovation ecosystems.Develop investment theses, market assessments, and portfolio allocation strategies across relevant therapeutic and technology areas.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
