Corporate Treasury Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Treasury Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for accounting for cash, debt, investments, and treasury transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will work closely with Treasury, Accounting, and external banking partners to support daily cash operations and month-end close.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily cash activity, bank accounts, and treasury transactions
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain accounting for debt, interest, investments, and intercompany loans
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for treasury-related accounts during month-end close
• Support cash forecasting and daily cash positioning
• Process and verify wires, ACH payments, and other electronic transfers
• Assist with foreign currency transactions, revaluation, and hedging activity as applicable
• Maintain bank account documentation and support bank account opening, closing, and signatory updates
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies
• Support internal and external audits by providing treasury-related schedules and documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in treasury, corporate accounting, or public accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cash and debt accounting
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and treasury management systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
