Corporate/Transactional Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with at least two years of corporate and transactional experience to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and outstanding communication skills. Admission to practice in North Carolina or eligibility for admission is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to clients' legal issues through high-quality legal work.
• Research, draft, review, negotiate, and advise on complex contracts and commercial law matters.
• Interpret and explain the law in an engaging manner for clients.
• Build business through client relationships and business development strategies.
• Assist partners with research and drafting for manuscripts and presentations.
• Perform other legal functions and special projects as needed.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Admitted to practice in North Carolina or willing to obtain admission.

Education

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
