Corporate ParalegalWe are seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Paralegal to help provide legal services on a variety of corporate and securities matters. Successful candidates will be able to juggle competing priorities and be extremely responsive in a fast-paced environment. A proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a keen sense of judgment will excel in this role.Responsibilities include:Drafting minutes, consents, officer certificates, and related basic corporate documentsManaging entity formation and maintenance, including state and local filings and business licensesPreparing statutory filings, including director resignations/appointments and change of addressCalendar and track statutory compliance obligationsUpdating and maintaining organizational charts and preparing periodic reports for internal business teams, ensuring accuracy and timely distributionManaging relationships with registered agents and external counselWorking closely with other members of the team, including finance and tax functions, to fulfill compliance and corporate governance requirementsSupporting broader corporate legal team on other matters, which may include stock matters, M&A, immigration, capital markets, and other projectsAssisting with preparation of SEC filingsIdentifying opportunities to streamline processes within the departmentManaging legal accruals and billingPreparing and circulating litigation hold noticesPerforming general administrative tasks for the departmentMaintaining and administering the Legal Team's files on Sharepoint and in IronCladSupporting due diligence and KYC (know your customer) requestsProcessing DocuSign requests and ensuring compliance with signature approval policyCoordinating notarization and apostille of documents as requiredRequired qualifications include:3+ years of experience in a similar roleParalegal certificate or Bachelor's DegreeHigh ethical standards and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentialitySelf-starter, proactive, detail and deadline orientedA positive, 'can-do' outlook, a sense of excitement to learn and contribute to the team's goals, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get the job doneDesired qualifications include:Experience working in-house in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with IronClad, Microsoft suite (including SharePoint) and Google appsExperience at publicly-traded companies supporting SEC reportingExperience supporting litigation intake, including responses to subpoenas and litigation holdsStrong preference for candidates located near one of our California offices (Santa Cruz, San Carlos or Marina) with ability to work on site 1-2 days per weekNotary commission desirableCompensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

The target base pay for this position is $91,000 - $149,800/year salary.
