Displate is seeking a business-minded, pragmatic Corporate Legal Counsel to serve as an embedded legal advisor for its US operations and manufacturing hub in Louisville, KY. The role involves partnering directly with executive leadership and operating teams to manage commercial contracts, corporate governance, and facility-level legal matters.

Key Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Active license in good standing with the Kentucky Bar (or eligibility for immediate reciprocity/in-house registration).
  • Experience: 5–8+ years of corporate, commercial, and transactional legal experience.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Draft, review, and negotiate standard and complex commercial and vendor agreements.
  • Oversee US corporate filings, state registrations, and subsidiary maintenance.
  • Partner with Plant Leadership and HR on workplace policies, labor/employment matters, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify operational legal risks and coordinate with outside specialty counsel.
