Executive Security DriverSalary: $160,000Position OverviewThe Executive Security Driver (ESD) serves as the primary protective asset during executive movements and travel operations. This role integrates secure driving, close-in protection, advance planning, domestic travel coordination, and dynamic route management to ensure safe, discreet transportation while maintaining continuous situational awareness and threat avoidance.The ESD operates within a low-profile security posture and is responsible for both the safety of the principal and the integrity of movement operations. The position requires disciplined judgment, professional discretion, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risk without disrupting executive productivity or comfort.This role includes regular domestic travel alongside the principal and participation within a broader executive protection and security operations framework.

The ESD will work as part of a coordinated team environment while serving as a primary transportation and protective resource during daily operations and travel assignments.The ESD works under the direction of the Director of Security Operations (DSO) and in coordination with executive assistants, protection personnel, and external security advisors as required.Key ResponsibilitiesSecure Executive TransportationProvide safe, discreet, and defensive driving services for the executive and authorized principalsMaintain low-profile operational posture during all movementsEnsure vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and operational integrity at all timesPosition vehicle strategically to minimize exposure during pick-up and drop-offSupport executive travel movements domestically as requiredProtective Operations During TransitMaintain continuous situational awareness of surroundings, vehicles, and pedestrian activityIdentify anomalies, surveillance indicators, or potential threats during movementCommunicate suspicious activity immediately and delay principal movement if requiredServe as both driver and protective agent when operating in single-asset configurationRoute Planning & Advance PreparationConduct pre-movement planning including primary, secondary, and emergency routesVary routes and departure timing to reduce predictabilityConduct advance site visits when required to assess entrances, exits, parking, and exposure pointsMaintain familiarity with executive residences, offices, airports, hotels, and frequently visited locationsTravel & Operational SupportAccompany the principal during domestic travel assignments as requiredCoordinate movement logistics with executive assistants, aviation personnel, hotels, and security partnersSupport advance preparation and movement coordination in unfamiliar operating environmentsOperate effectively within a team-based executive protection structureIncident Response & Emergency ManagementRespond immediately and appropriately to security incidents during transitPrioritize evacuation and principal safety over engagementMaintain knowledge of nearby hospitals and emergency response access pointsCoordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and protective teams as neededFirearms & Operational StandardsCarry authorized firearm in accordance with company policy and applicable lawMaintain concealment at all times unless lawfully and operationally justifiedDemonstrate disciplined use-of-force judgment consistent with company standardsMaintain proficiency in defensive tactics, de-escalation, and emergency responseCoordination & CommunicationWork closely with executive assistants regarding daily schedules and changesCoordinate with Executive Protection Agents and Operations teams when applicableMaintain clear, concise, and professional communication at all timesProtect confidentiality of executive movements and sensitive informationQualifications & ExperiencePrior experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or equivalent protective rolesHR218 / LEOSA credentials strongly preferredAdvanced training in defensive and evasive driving techniques preferredExperience operating luxury vehicles and executive fleetsWillingness and ability to travel domestically with the principal as requiredValid driver's license with clean driving recordLicensed and legally authorized to carry a concealed firearm (as applicable by jurisdiction)Strong familiarity with urban movement operations and route planningDemonstrated ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment under pressureCore CompetenciesDefensive and protective driving proficiencySituational awareness and threat recognitionCalm decision-making under stressExecutive discretion and confidentialityLow-profile operational disciplineAdaptability in dynamic urban and travel environmentsProfessional presence and team-oriented mindset
