Corporate Development Analyst

This opportunity could be of interest to anyone that has at least a year of experience with: Investment Banking; Deal Advisory; or M&A work that is ready to work with a private-equity backed services company that is embarking on a large acquisition/growth strategy.

The organization focuses on partnering with established owner-operated businesses in a highly fragmented industry, helping founders accelerate growth, expand capabilities, and preserve the legacy they have built. This individual will review acquisition opportunities, while partnering with all stakeholders to ensure the build and grow model is successful.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze potential acquisition opportunities
• Prepare investment review materials for executive leadership and board members
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation work, and due diligence on prospective transactions
• Coordinate third-party diligence providers and transaction advisors
• Assist with drafting letters of intent, purchase agreements, and supporting transaction documentation
• Support transaction execution from initial outreach through closing
• Contribute across finance, operations, business development, and strategic initiatives as needed
• Collaborate closely with leadership in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of analyst-level experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, FP&A, accounting, direct lending, or transaction advisory
• Alternatively, 3–5 years of experience with a leading consulting firm supporting M&A, due diligence, or private equity clients
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Experience leveraging AI and productivity tools to improve workflows and analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting acquisition-driven or multi-location organizations is a plus
