Its teams need practical legal support for a growing volume of commercial relationships.## The roleRaydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Join as Corporate Counsel and take ownership of commercial contracting as the first dedicated in-house attorney. This is a hands-on legal role working with leadership and cross-functional teams.## What you'll do* **Draft**, review, negotiate, and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, data licenses, and DPAs.* **Work with leadership** and people teams on contract matters.* **Improve contract templates** and negotiation playbooks.* **Coordinate specialized matters** with outside counsel.* **Support adjacent legal needs**, including employment-related issues, as the business grows.## What we're looking for* **3 to 6 years** of relevant legal experience.* A JD and active California bar admission.* Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience.* In-house experience at an early-stage or growing startup.* Comfort using AI tools in legal workflows.* Practical judgment and willingness to take on adjacent legal work.## Bonus points* Technology or data licensing experience.* Employment law, contractor classification, or offer-letter experience.* Law-firm training followed by in-house experience.## Benefits* Medical, dental, and vision coverage.* 401(k) with employer match.* Daily meal stipend, monthly wellness stipend, and covered commute.## Location and work model* San Francisco, California, United States.* The role is listed as onsite, with a candidate-facing requirement to attend the office three times per week.* Visa transfers are supported.
