Corporate Counsel at Purpose Financial

Purpose Financial is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join their legal team in Greenville, SC. This role focuses on providing strategic legal guidance across the company's brands, including Advance America and Purpose Money, with a specific emphasis on consumer financial services and commercial contract management.

Key Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Experience: 5+ years in banking, fintech, consumer finance, or Earned Wage Access; 4+ years in commercial contracts (SaaS/data-driven).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS and vendor agreements.

  • Provide business-forward legal guidance for product launches and corporate transactions.
