This opportunity may be based at a Reyes Beverage Group location other than the posted location.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as a legal advisor to the company, working with senior leadership to advise on all legal matters affecting the company as well as developing strategic plans, identifying and implementing growth opportunities, and driving profitability
- Draft, review and negotiate sponsorship, promotional rights and licensing agreements in support of the commercial business for the company
- Draft, review, and negotiate procurement, vendor and technology/software agreements including supply agreements,terms and conditions, master service agreements and a variety of indirect supply agreements
- Create efficiencies and improvement within the legal department including enhancing or developing templates, contract standardization/automation initiatives, and building a legal playbook
- Prepare and conduct training for managers and employees on relevant legal topics
- Build key relationships within the company by responding promptly, being proactive about guiding the business in a way that minimizes risk and maintains company goals
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctorate and 4 to 6 years of related experience at amajor law firm and/or corporate legal department
- Admission to a State Bar
- Ability to get registered in-house counsel status in California
- Experience with commercial transactions, including licensing, sponsorship, supply chain and technology
