Corporate Controller

Corporate Controller Position in Sheboygan County

We are working on a Controller position for an international manufacturer in the Sheboygan area that has been around over 50 years and has seen steady/substantial growth throughout their history. This position is open due to an upcoming retirement and will be the right hand to the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Review and analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Provide clear and actionable financial insights to leadership
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls and financial processes
• Serve as a trusted financial partner to cross-functional leaders
• Support development of annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor financial performance against plan and identify variances
• Drive continuous improvement across financial workflows and systems
• Ensure effective use of ERP and financial systems

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA REQUIRED
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing
• 4+ years of management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
