TriVista is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the company's accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations while helping strengthen financial planning, analysis, and business decision support across the organization.

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys both technical accounting and partnering with business leaders to improve performance and decision-making. The Corporate Controller will work closely with executive leadership and practice leaders across the firm, providing financial insight, improving reporting capabilities, and supporting continued growth.

As the organization evolves, this position is expected to expand into broader finance leadership responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, operating metrics, and finance business partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting, financial reporting, audit, compliance, and cash management activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Manage the annual financial audit and coordinate regulatory and tax compliance activities
  • Partner with leadership to analyze business performance, profitability, utilization, forecasting, and operating results
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting
  • Improve finance processes, internal controls, reporting automation, and system utilization
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including Controller-level responsibilities or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and accounting operations
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting
  • Professional services, consulting, staffing, engineering services, agency, or other project-based business experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights

Education

  • 4-year degree, preferably in accounting, finance or related field and/or combination of required education and experience
  • CPA preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification or ability to obtain upon hire

The salary range for this position reflects our good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base pay for the role at the time of posting. The actual pay offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, location, and market conditions. For example, a candidate with the minimum required experience and qualifications may receive an offer near the lower end of the range, while a candidate with extensive experience and specialized expertise may receive an offer near the top of the range. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
