Corporate Controller - PE backed company!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, which include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity ownership
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
• Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational systems and cost effectiveness
• Manage the annual audit process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting - required
• 15 - 25 years of accounting experience
• Currently working in a similar capacity as Controller for a mid-sized organization
• Experience leading and overseeing a large team of 15+ employees
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
