The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, which include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity ownership
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
- Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational systems and cost effectiveness
- Manage the annual audit process

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting - required
- 15 - 25 years of accounting experience
- Currently working in a similar capacity as Controller for a mid-sized organization
- Experience leading and overseeing a large team of 15+ employees
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
