Corporate Controller

Client Overview:

Our client is a privately owned manufacturing company that specializes in the food and beverage industry. They are a leading provider in the industry and operate state-of-the-art facilities and customer application centers throughout the United States. They are currently looking to add a Corporate Controller to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$150k - $170k

Position Overview:

This is a hands-on finance leadership role that will own accounting and reporting while also driving planning activities for the corporate side of the business. The Corporate Controller will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the company’s investors, with a clear path for growth as the organization continues to expand.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Controller:

• Own the month-end close process, consolidations, and financial statement preparation.
• Build budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans for corporate departments.
• Create dashboards and KPIs and develop scenario models to guide key business decisions.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure financial data remains clean and consistent across systems.
• Strengthen internal controls and modernize finance processes.
• Manage and mentor a small Accounting and Finance team.

Required Experience/Skills for the Corporate Controller:

• 6+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• Strong background in month-end close, consolidations, audits, and internal controls.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
• Experience leading and developing a team.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Corporate Controller:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
