Valor Front Executive Search & Leadership Consulting has been retained by a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Corporate Controller. Our client is a well-established, privately held manufacturer with international operations spanning North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

About the Role

This is a high-visibility, high-trust position for a hands-on accounting and finance leader ready to grow into a CFO seat. You will work directly alongside the company's senior executive, absorbing institutional knowledge while overseeing all controller functions and building the financial reporting infrastructure to support a fast-moving, internationally active business. This is not a behind-the-desk role, you will be cross-functional, visible, and embedded in the day-to-day rhythm of the company.

What You Will Do

• Oversee all corporate controller functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger oversight
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, sales, production, and international operations teams
• Take on institutional and operational knowledge transfer to free up executive leadership for strategic initiatives
• Translate raw financial data into clear, presentable formats for internal stakeholders
• Travel internationally to support operations in Vancouver, France, and the APAC region, with potential travel to additional European markets
• Build toward eventual ownership of financial statement preparation and audit management
• Operate in both tactical, in-the-weeds execution and polished strategic presentation as the situation demands
• Position for future growth into a CFO role as the organization evolves

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an accounting emphasis
• Manufacturing industry background strongly preferred; specific sub-sector experience is flexible
• A coachable, curious mindset with genuine willingness to learn a new business from the ground up
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across departments
• A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with no ego about title or scope
• CPA is a nice-to-have, not a requirement
