Corporate Controller

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization. This individual will be a builder who enjoys creating processes, strengthening internal controls, improving reporting, and developing scalable accounting procedures. The Controller will partner with leadership to provide financial insight, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure the integrity of the company's financial information.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, AP, AR, and financial reporting
• Establish, document, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, operational workflows, and reporting efficiency
• Drive month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
• Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Provide financial analysis and key operating metrics to support business decisions
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital initiatives
• Lead the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
• Partner with leadership to support growth initiatives, system implementations, and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience building or improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting structures
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Experience working in a growing, entrepreneurial, or changing environment preferred
• Ability to roll up your sleeves and work both strategically and tactically
• CPA preferred
