CORPORATE CONTROLLER for growing Defense Co.
GNR has been retained to identify a CORPORTATE CONTROLLER for a rapidly growing DEFENSE organization. We’re seeking a strategic financial leader experienced within the DEFENSE industry to ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR/DFARS & CAS.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Corporate CFO, build and lead a small team and collaborate with other divisions to present and communicate findings to the Executive team.
- Establish processes and procedures, reconcile balance sheets, manage DCAA audits, general ledger and month-end / year-end closings.
- Help build and grow the accounting team with responsibilities across multiple divisions.
Qualifications
- STRONG in-depth Defense Finance experience is REQUIRED – FAR/DFARs, GAAP, DCAA/DCMA, CAS
- Experience with various cost structures (FFP, T&M, CP), pricing, direct/indirect rate structures, and providing program, proposals and contracts support
- Collaborative and ambitious finance leader; able to develop and mentor high-performance teams and identify improvements for multiple sites
- Bachelor’s degree + US Citizenship
