Corporate Controller – Manufacturing

StevenDouglas is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to find a Corporate Controller. You’ll lead the accounting function, own the close and reporting, and act as a strategic partner to the CFO and operations leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and deliver accurate, timely GAAP financial statements.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis across plant operations.
- Use Oracle to optimize reporting, drive system enhancements, and strengthen data integrity.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment and manage external audits.
- Partner with operations and FP&A on margin analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing accounting team.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
- Manufacturing industry experience, with deep knowledge of cost accounting and inventory.
- Hands-on Oracle experience (EBS or Cloud/Fusion).
- Public accounting background a plus, but not required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, plus a continuous improvement mindset.
