Corporate Controller

Role: Corporate Controller

Location: Allentown, PA

We are partnering with a leading private equity sponsor on a Corporate Controller search for a global industrial business operating across multiple international markets.

The Controller will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls across a complex, multi-entity organization. This individual will play a key role in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting accuracy, and supporting the company's next phase of growth under private equity ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Close: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, global consolidations, and financial reporting.
• POC & Project Accounting: Oversee percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition, WIP, inventory, and project-based accounting.
• Audit & Compliance: Lead external audits, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Global Operations: Oversee international accounting teams and outsourced shared-service providers.
• Process Improvement: Drive improvements in accounting processes, ERP systems, and financial reporting infrastructure.
• Business Partnership: Collaborate with the CFO, FP&A, and operational leadership to support management and PE sponsor reporting.

Requirements:

• Background in industrial manufacturing, assembly, engineering, or industrial services.
• Percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting experience, including project-based revenue recognition and WIP.
• Experience within a PE-backed business

Preferred Experience:

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior controllership responsibilities.
• Experience leading month-end close, external audits, and financial reporting.
• International, multi-entity or multi-site accounting experience.
• CPA, Big Four background, carve-out experience, and ERP transformation exposure preferred.
