Duties
- Advise clients on general corporate matters, including entity formation and governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as vendor and confidentiality agreements.
- Provide legal advice to business teams on operational and contractual matters.
- Support financing and internal restructuring transactions.
- Maintain corporate records and assist with compliance.
- Partner with clients as a trusted advisor on legal needs.
- Collaborate with attorneys across various practice groups.
Requirements
- At least four years of corporate or business law experience.
- Experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
- Exposure to corporate governance and general corporate counseling.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate legal concepts into business advice.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.

Education
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Admission to the Michigan Bar, or ability to become licensed in Michigan.
