Corporate Attorney

An established New Jersey firm is adding a corporate attorney to its transactional practice.

This is deal work with your name on it. You will run documents and closings, not sit third chair.

What You Will Do

• Draft and negotiate merger and acquisition documents.
• Work private equity transactions from term sheet through closing.
• Run due diligence and manage closing checklists.
• Advise on entity formation, governance and commercial agreements.
• Work directly with clients and opposing counsel.

What You Have

• Five or more years of corporate transactional practice, including M&A documentation, private equity transactions, due diligence and closings.
• New Jersey bar admission is required.
• New York admission, or a transferable UBE score, is a plus but not a requirement.
• Healthcare transactional experience is a strong plus, not a prerequisite.
• Writing samples will be requested.

The Details

• Full-time, in office in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
• Base salary $155,000 to $170,000.
• Full benefits.
