Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a corporate client in seeking an experienced Attorney to join their legal team on a long-term, indefinite temporary basis. Candidates must be barred in New York.

Role Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Long-term, indefinite
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Location: Fully remote
• Pay Rate: Starting at $95 hourly, commensurate with experience

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be a versatile, business-oriented attorney comfortable handling a wide range of corporate legal matters. This role involves providing legal support across litigation management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and commercial contracting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage outside counsel on litigation matters
• Assist with SEC filings and related corporate disclosures
• Advise on compliance, shareholder relations, and regulatory issues
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, primarily from the seller’s side
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams to provide practical, risk-based legal guidance

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in New York
• 5+ years of relevant in‑house or law firm experience
• Strong background in litigation management, SEC filings, compliance, shareholder relations, regulatory matters, and commercial contracting
• Excellent communication skills and a hands‑on, adaptable approach
