Stonegate Workforce Group is recruiting two mid-level Corporate Associates for a prestigious & reputable AmLaw Firm’s Washington, DC office. This opportunity is suited to attorneys with a strong foundation in corporate law and experience in at least two of the following areas: private equity, venture capital, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, securities, or public finance.
The Role:
The associates will support corporate matters relevant to their experience. Depending on the practice area, work may include drafting and reviewing transaction documents, conducting due diligence, researching legal and regulatory issues, and helping coordinate matters through closing. The specific mix of work will depend on the successful candidates’ backgrounds and the needs of the practice.
Qualifications
*2–5 years of relevant corporate experience
*Experience in at least two of these areas: private equity, venture capital, IPOs, M&A, securities, or public finance
*Strong academic credentials
*Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
*Ability to manage detailed work and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
*Experience representing technology and/or life sciences companies is required

Base salary range: $235,000–$365,000, based on year of classification
