Duties

• Represent investment managers and sponsors in the formation and operation of private funds.
• Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters for investment managers.
• Prepare and review private placement memoranda and related agreements.
• Represent family offices in structuring and documenting investments and services.
• Negotiate and document strategic joint ventures and corporate transactions.
• Manage sophisticated legal matters and supervise junior attorneys.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience in relevant legal areas.
• Substantial experience with fund formation and corporate transactions.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
