A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate/Senior Associate with expertise in investment management and private funds to join their team in Stamford, Connecticut. Duties
- Represent investment managers in forming and operating private funds.
- Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
- Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Structure and document family office investments and services.
- Negotiate and document direct investments and co-investment transactions.
- Supervise junior attorneys and manage multiple workstreams.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of experience in investment management and private fund formation.
- Substantial experience with sophisticated fund and corporate transactional documents.
- Ability to manage client relationships independently.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bar admission in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
