A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate / Senior Associate with expertise in investment management, private funds, and family offices to join their Boston, Massachusetts office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years of experience in related corporate transactions and a strong background in representing investment managers and sponsors.
Duties
- Represent investment managers in the formation and operation of private funds.
- Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
- Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Prepare and review private placement memoranda and related agreements.
- Represent family offices in structuring and documenting investments.
- Negotiate and document executive employment agreements for family offices.
- Manage sophisticated matters and supervise junior attorneys.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of experience in investment management and private fund formation.
- Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating complex documents.
- Ability to manage client relationships independently.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.Bar admission in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
