Job Title: Capital Markets Associate (4th-6th Year)
Location: New York
Compensation: $260,000-$390,000+
Our client, an AM50 global law firm with a premier Capital Markets practice, is looking to add a talented 4th-6th year Capital Markets Associate to its New York team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading Corporate Department and work on sophisticated public and private capital-raising transactions for major issuers, investment banks and private equity clients.
The practice handles a broad range of sophisticated transactions, including IPOs, direct listings, equity offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt, equity-linked securities and other complex Capital Markets matters.

What you'll do:
- Advise issuers, investment banks and private equity clients on sophisticated Capital Markets transactions
- Work on IPOs, follow-on offerings and other equity transactions
- Assist with high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings
- Advise on direct listings and other innovative capital-raising transactions
- Work on equity-linked securities and other complex financing solutions
- Draft and negotiate transaction documentation
- Advise clients on securities laws and regulatory matters
- Work closely with partners and senior associates on high-value transactions
- Collaborate with lawyers across a global Corporate and Capital Markets practice
What they're looking for:
- 4th-6th year associate
- At least 2 years of Capital Markets experience
- Strong experience with sophisticated securities transactions
- Experience with equity and/or debt offerings
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
- New York Bar admission
