The Opportunity
- Advise on corporate governance, securities transactions, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and related transactional matters.
- Counsel REITs, investment companies, operating companies, and financial institutions on Maryland corporation law.
- Support public-company governance, board matters, disclosure obligations, and strategic transactions.
- Work across a national platform with corporate, securities, tax, finance, and regulatory colleagues.
Candidate Profile
- Four to six years of meaningful corporate transactional experience.
- Excellent drafting, oral and written communication, academic credentials, and client-service orientation.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the applicable state bar.
Preferred Experience
- Experience advising REITs on Maryland corporation law or advising public companies on governance matters.
