Overview

Corporate Associate Attorney — Crypto/Blockchain, salary $260,000–$390,000 annually. This is a lateral opportunity with a top national law firm.

Responsibilities

• Advise crypto and web3 companies on transactional matters, including venture capital financings; crypto token, digital asset and NFT issuances; primary and secondary sales of crypto tokens and digital assets; and the creation of offshore structures related to crypto token and digital asset issuances.
• Work on transactions involving blockchain technology and markets; ensure understanding of applicable securities law and regulatory issues around crypto tokens.
• Collaborate with technology and growth company clients at various stages of development across industries such as fintech, digital media and entertainment, electronic gaming, big data, cleantech and climate solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years of transactional experience advising crypto and web3 companies on related transactions.
• Experience with venture capital financings, crypto token issuances, and related structures; knowledge of offshore structuring related to crypto tokens and digital assets is a plus.
• Understanding of blockchain technology and markets; familiarity with securities law and regulatory issues around crypto tokens is advantageous.
• Law degree (JD) from an accredited program; admission to practice in relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience at a large law firm preferred; candidates from top-tier firms sought.

Preferred Location

San Francisco is preferred; candidates in Los Angeles, New York or Washington, DC will also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range of $260,000–$390,000, based on year classification.
