Corporate & Securities Counsel

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Counsel or Senior Counsel to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group. This attorney will work collaboratively with a multi-office group representing large Nasdaq and NYSE-listed companies across a variety of industries.

This role offers substantial work with sophisticated securities law, corporate governance, capital markets, regulatory compliance, and public company advisory matters. The position is specifically designed for attorneys who enjoy high-level work but are not interested in a traditional partnership-track path. The position offers reduced hours.

Job Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Minimum 8+ years of corporate and securities law experience
• Experience gained through a large regional or national law firm, in-house legal department, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), or a combination thereof
• Securities offerings and capital markets transactions
• Public company reporting
• Corporate governance and board advisory work
• Securities law disclosures and regulatory compliance matters

Compensation

• Estimated base salary: $250,000 to $300,000
• Reduced billable-hour requirement compared to traditional partnership-track positions
