Ideal for an early-career accounting professional seeking meaningful ownership and long-term growth.We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations within a dynamic and evolving environment.

This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the monthly close process, and contributing to the development of internal controls and procedures. The position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, a proactive mindset, and the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.Key ResponsibilitiesManage core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)Maintain and update General Ledger (GL) activity and journal entriesSupport monthly close processes, including accruals and reconciliationsPerform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completenessAssist in building and refining month-end close checklists and workflowsContribute to the development of internal controls and approval processesPrepare and analyze office-level profit and loss statementsEnsure balance sheet integrity and accuracySupport ongoing process improvement and system enhancementsQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred1–3 years of corporate accounting experienceStrong understanding of accrual-based accounting (critical)Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closeProficiency in QuickBooks Online strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environmentProactive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to take on new challengesStrong communication skills and professional demeanorHybrid schedule (3 days onsite; additional onsite presence during onboarding and close cycles)Professional, business-formal office environmentDetail-oriented, results-driven culture with high expectations for accuracyBenefits & PerksHealth, dental, and vision insurance options401(k) with employer contributionGenerous paid time off and holidaysProfessional development and growth opportunitiesExposure to process improvement and system implementation initiativesOpportunity to join a firm actively building out its internal accounting functionHigh visibility role with direct impact on processes and infrastructureStrong runway for growth within accounting and finance operationsExposure to both day-to-day accounting and project-based initiatives
