Corporate AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to support financial reporting, consolidation accounting, and technical accounting activities within a complex, multi-entity environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting internal controls and audit processes.The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience in corporate or public accounting, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Consolidation AccountingAssist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S.

GAAPMaintain and reconcile fixed asset and lease subledgers, ensuring accuracy and complianceSupport month-end and year-end close processes, including consolidations and intercompany eliminationsCoordinate with subsidiaries to ensure consistent accounting policies and reportingEnsure timely and accurate reporting to parent or corporate entitiesTechnical Accounting & ComplianceResearch and analyze complex accounting issues and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAPAssist with implementation of new accounting standards and policiesPrepare technical accounting memos and documentationAudit & Internal ControlsServe as a key liaison for external auditors during annual auditsSupport and enhance internal controls and financial processesPartner with internal teams to strengthen governance and risk management practicesTax & Risk Management SupportAct as a point of contact for external tax service providers to support compliance and reportingCoordinate with risk management teams on financial reporting related to insurance, claims, and related mattersRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of relevant accounting experience (corporate or public accounting preferred)Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principlesExperience with financial consolidations and intercompany accountingPreferred QualificationsCPA or equivalent certificationExperience in a large corporate or public accounting (Big 4) environmentExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365Experience with OneStream or similar consolidation/reporting toolsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.)Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively across teams and functionsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAdditional InformationOnsite role based in Charlotte, NCNo travel requiredNo visa sponsorship available
