Corn SorterThe Corn Sorter is responsible for monitoring a conveyor belt to ensure all corn passing through is viable. Any corn that appears discolored, rotten, or is a different crop should be removed and discarded. Corn with husks must be sent for de-husking. This position involves standing or sitting on ergonomic mats and requires the ability to walk up and down stairs. Employees will work in a non-temperature-controlled environment with potential dust exposure. The sorting area is air-conditioned, and the job involves both seated and standing work. Shifts are split after the first day of orientation with 8 to 10-hour shifts available, and candidates must be available for all six days with rotating days off. Training will likely occur during the first three days from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Tipton, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00/hr.
