Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for elementary school opportunities in Burbank, Illinois . We currently have three openings supporting students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade instructional classrooms .

Position Details

• Location: Burbank, IL

• Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour

• Start Date: August 17, 2026

• Duration: 39-Week School Year Contract

• Schedule: 35 Hours Per Week

• Openings: 3

• Grade Levels: Kindergarten & 1st Grade

• Interview Format: Virtual or In-Person

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services

• Implement IEP goals and accommodations

• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff

• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment

• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation

• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)

• LBS1 Endorsement Required

• Previous Special Education experience preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Passion for helping elementary students succeed
