The coordinator will support Warrior Met Coal's global sales by assisting with trade finance activities, export documentation, customer payment processes, and banking coordination while developing knowledge of contractual, banking, and regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data, documents, and cross-functional teams.

metallurgical coal to customers around the world.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTrade Finance & Letter of Credit AdministrationReview all Letters of Credit (LCs) against commercial contract terms prior to customer issuance.Coordinate LC amendments with customers and financial institutions to ensure contractual compliance.Monitor issuance timing to help ensure LCs are received at least five business days prior to expected Bill of Lading (BOL) dates.Track LC expiration dates, drawing limits, presentation deadlines, and amendment activity.Maintain and continuously update the Letter of Credit tracking system.Export Documentation ManagementCoordinate the preparation, review, and distribution of complete export documentation packages, including:Bill of Lading (BOL)Certificate of Analysis (COA)Certificate of Weight (COW)Certificate of Origin (COO)Commercial InvoiceStatement of Facts (SOF)Stowage PlanAdditional customer-specific documentationVerify documentation accuracy, stakeholders.Digital Trade InitiativesSupport implementation of electronic trade documentation and digital Letter of Credit platforms.Participate in projects that improve documentation efficiency and reduce transaction cycle times.Regulatory DocumentationCoordinate customer requests related to international regulatory requirements, including environmental and trade reporting documentation.Maintain documentation supporting compliance with evolving global trade regulations.Customer OnboardingSupport trade finance onboarding for new customers.Coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.Assist with trade credit insurance applications and security documentation.Audit SupportServe as the Commercial team's primary liaison for internal and external audit requests involving contracts, revenue recognition, and trade documentation.Process ImprovementDevelop standardized documentation templates, process workflows, and operating procedures.Recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and strengthen internal controls.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.Relevant internship, co-op, coursework, student leadership, or project experience may be considered in lieu of direct professional experience.ExperienceEntry-level role; zero (0) to two (2) years of professional experience preferred.Internship or project experience in business, finance, accounting, logistics, supply chain, commercial administration, or data/reporting support is preferred.Exposure to contracts, invoices, shipping documents, customer communications, or Microsoft Excel-based tracking tools is desirable but not required.Prior experience with Letters of Credit, export documentation, international payment methods, commodities, mining, manufacturing, or international sales organizations is helpful but not required.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong willingness and ability to learn international trade finance practices, UCP 600 rules, Incoterms, export documentation, and international
