Accounting Coordinator Extension is seeking an Accounting Coordinator for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients in Port Washington, WI. If you enjoy solving financial puzzles, investigating discrepancies, and keeping accounts on track, this could be the opportunity for you!
Join a collaborative Finance team in a manufacturing environment. Gain exposure to major retail customers and a variety of accounting functions. Enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule in a full-time, onsite role. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, customer invoices, payments, and cash applications. Investigate and resolve retail deductions, chargebacks, shortages, and billing discrepancies. Manage deduction disputes through retailer portals, submit supporting documentation, and follow up on outstanding claims. Support payroll administration, timekeeping, temporary labor reporting, and employee data maintenance. Analyze deduction trends and collaborate with internal teams to improve collections and prevent recurring issues.
2+ years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, collections, deductions, or a related financial role.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
Retail deductions, chargebacks, or experience supporting large retail customers is highly preferred.
Manufacturing, CPG, retail, or contract manufacturing experience is a plus.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
