This role plans and coordinates all strategic business operations and outreach for the service line, including ambulatory, outpatient, inpatient, and post‑acute settings. Responsibilities include directing operations, strategy, growth initiatives, quality performance and monitoring, regulatory compliance, and financial reviews across departments throughout the organization.
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience
- Required: 10 years of experience successfully managing complex healthcare and patient‑care delivery systems.
- Preferred: Experience in a clinical service area, LEAN process improvement, and Physician Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Computer proficiency for data entry and retrieval of patient information, with strong Windows application and keyboard skills.
- Solution‑focused mindset for all customers, including patients, providers, and employees.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret financial information to create actionable plans.
- Ability to persuade, lead through influence, set a vision, and build an effective team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures quality of care and patient satisfaction measured by division performance reviews, accreditation regulatory compliance, and patient advocacy scores.
- Builds and engages workforce through leadership, talent development, and collaborative employee relationships.
- Oversees research, education, and training to support cutting‑edge patient care services.
- Ensures strategic development, growth, financial and operational profitability of the Service Line/Center of Excellence.
- Develops and achieves long‑term strategic business plans through effective relationship building, communication, planning and fundraising.
- Oversees the physical and technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures, programs, and processes.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Light work: up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or negligible force constantly, with walking, standing, and/or pushing/pulling required. No exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues during normal routine. Potential occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or waste inherent to the healthcare setting.
