Chief Operating Officer, Chief Nurse Executive (COO/CNO)
Position Summary:
- Lead overall operations, aligning strategies with the CEO and executive board.
- Supervise nursing staff and clinical services; oversee hiring, termination, and budgeting processes.
- Manage quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with cross‑functional departments.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with BSN and MSN degrees.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive nursing leadership in a hospital setting, ideally as Director of Nursing.
- Experience managing staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation in a rural community hospital.
- Strong clinical nursing knowledge and background in rural health services.
