Controls TechnicianAs a PLC Controls Technician, you will design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-controlled systems using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, while supporting manufacturing operations through advanced diagnostics, system improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. This is a direct-hire opportunity.Benefits of the PLC Controls Technician:401k401k MatchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid vacationShift Options: 2nd shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm 3rd shift: Mon-Fri 10pm-6am C Shift: Sat-Mon 5am-5pm D Shift: Sat-Mon 5pm-5am*Overtime may be required based on business needsPrincipal Responsibilities:Design, program, and maintain PLC systems in accordance with corporate standardsDevelop and support HMI applications for manufacturing equipmentTroubleshoot complex equipment and automation issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actionsModify PLC programs and interface communications with industrial devicesDiagnose and resolve issues with vision systems, including Cognex and KeyenceTroubleshoot and maintain servo drive systems, particularly Rexroth and Siemens platformsCollaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment performance and reliabilitySupport mechanical troubleshooting and assist with general maintenance tasks as neededIdentify programming issues and communicate findings to Controls EngineersProvide feedback to Engineering on recurring issues and opportunities for system improvementsMaintain a proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving technical skillsProficient in troubleshooting, repairing and/or replacing different type of sensors, machine safety systems and measurement systems and devices like KistlersProficient in basic programming, manipulating, maintaining and troubleshooting robotics, with emphasis on FANUC robots.Your ProfileRequired Qualifications:Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience in industrial automation and maintenanceStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutionsWorking knowledge of PLC programming languages (IEC 61131-3), including Ladder Logic (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Control Language (SCL), Statement List (STL), and GRAPHAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprintsStrong mechanical aptitude and experience with electrical servicing and installationsEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple prioritiesExperience troubleshooting vision systems (Cognex, Keyence)Experience with servo drive systems, including Rexroth and Siemens platformsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Siemens Step 7 and TIA PortalPLC and Robotics experience.
