We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.This Program Management position is responsible for leading and facilitating the execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering development programs through all phases of the life cycle.As a key leadership position within the organization, it is essential for effective operation through active management of project execution, risks, and mitigations to meet our commitments to the business, while managing metrics and dashboards to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team.Essential FunctionsProvide program management execution for assigned projects in accordance with GE Gas Power Program Managers Standard Work Procedure:Create and maintain internal and external project schedulesValidate proper resource assignment and manage spending per the planGuide the execution team through the NPI Development Process, assuring the proper adherence to engineering policies and proceduresCoordinate activities between engineering sub-functions to ensure all project deliverables are delivered on time, complete, properly tested, and documentedActively manage program risks and mitigations to avoid execution missesCommunicate program status and issues to the engineering and commercial stakeholdersProvide regular spending status and projections to the Business Operations and Quality teamWe are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this jobAny offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screenDesired Characteristics:Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationKnowledge of project tracking tools, processes, and practicesEngineering Program graduate or advanced engineering degreePrior experience in electronic hardware or software development, preferably embedded control systems or the configuration thereofKnowledgeable of engineering, manufacturing and customer service processesStrong organizational/ project execution skills and prior success in working with or leading cross-functional teamsCustomer satisfaction mind setDemonstrated leadership, team building, and communication skillsUnderstanding of the NERC and IEC-62443 standardsLeadership:Highly motivated, energetic, confident, self-starting personal characteristicsInfluences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideasIdentifies opportunities and actively pursues appropriate changes with the input & support of the teamAble to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility when necessaryPay Range: $80000 to $ a yearCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
