If you like the excitement of working with very talented colleagues in a fast-paced environment while implementing world class solutions at venerable brand name clients, please submit your application.Primary Duties:The primary function of the position is Systems Project execution, including development of Control Programs and systems interfacing for conveyor and associated automated devices. This involves management of control panel builds, electricians, and other related crafts. You will work closely with the sales, engineering, and project management to research, design and engineer a variety of PLC system solutions that may include conveyor, ASRS equipment, Robotic Automation, and high-speed packaging equipment. Specifically, the position will require the designing of PLC control cabinets, programming of the PLC, and support of the system. Generating BOM, ordering material to support manufacturing of system designed.
The role would team with PeakLogix Engineering and field Project Managers to plan and/or execute several system project installations simultaneously and will require you to be on-site during the installation and testing of our solutions.Required Qualifications:3+ years of Electrical Engineering experience3+ years proficiency in the use of AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent experience2+ years' experience developing automation software using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC hardware and software.2+ years' experience with troubleshooting and commission PLC solutionsExperience performing, I/O checkout and wiring verificationWilling to travel 25 to 35% of the time to customer sitesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Must be located on the East Coast of the U.S.Preferred Qualifications:1+ years working with SCADA2+ years designing and troubleshooting control cabinetsAbout Alta:Culture is Job #1.
