Job Description
We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization who is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer due to a continued growth/new business. This position will report to the Senior Engineering Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
Position Overview:
* Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals
* Maintain PLC based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation
* Program PLC ladder logic (Allen Bradley)
* Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines
* Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities
* Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs
* Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs
* Guides design, develops and tests electrical control methods, materials, processes and results
* Champion assigned engineering changes communicate and coordinate accordingly to all
Requirements
* Electrical Engineering Degree is required for consideration
* Candidate should be well versed in Allen Bradley PLC's
* Experience in programming, installation, startup, and debug of integrated robotic production systems
* Proficient in reading, interpreting and editing electrical schematics and diagrams
