A growing industrial equipment manufacturing company just outside of Milwaukee is adding a Controls Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity to get in with a company that has passionate leadership, good benefits, and offers competitive compensation
- Design electrical controls and program PLC and HMI systems for automated industrial equipment
- Support projects from initial concept through shop testing, virtual commissioning, and customer startup
- Develop electrical drawings and maintain bills of material and part information in an ERP system
- Provide lifecycle support, including troubleshooting, upgrades, diagnostics, and software revisions
- Requires proficiency with Rockwell Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal and applicable HMI software
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with three to five years of related experience, or equivalent qualifications.
- Approximately 20% travel
- Experience with panel design, UL508A, industrial networking, robotics, vision, RFID, and digital-twin experience are preferred.
