Domain- Software & Product, Controls Engineering

Description: As a Controls Engineer you will participate in electrical control design and commissioning. Utilize standards in electrical controls design, PLC programming and commissioning developed by Kuecker Pulse Integration. Comfortable with hands-on design and product development, supporting customers and executing a business strategy. Thrive in fast-paced uncertain environments

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE and be safety first oriented
• Follow Standards set forth by Kuecker Pulse Integration
• Understand project schedules and scope of work
• Understand project requirements, specifications, and equipment functionality
• Contribute to the team and be capable of reacting to change
• Communicate well and often with Project Managers and/or Controls Manager
• Complete defined tests from Kuecker Pulse Integration standard testing documents and check sheets
• Communicate well with customers during testing processes
• Ensure quality of field installations
• All other tasks as directed by management

Qualifications:

• B. xhqgsiq S. Electrical Engineering or Trade School equivalent in PLC/Controls Engineering or Combination of Education and Experience equivalent.

Required Skills:

• Capable of managing stressful situations and maintain strong analytical, verbal and written communication
• 1-2 Years controls field installation/commissioning
• Experience in following and executing multiple tasks, ability to keep track of multiple tasks and complete them all with updates and reports communicated where appropriate
• Knowledge of designing/commissioning/troubleshooting controls systems (i.e. Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Square D, etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of industrial controls networks (i.e. Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.) is a plus
• 60% Travel
