Job Duties
nSeeking a self-driven Controls Engineer, energetic individual capable of leading the electrical controls design and programming of custom automation equipment. You will be able to have a high impact in shaping the controls direction of a driven, and ambitious team with decades of experience in delivering sophisticated automation equipment.
nMinimum Education Required
nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer engineering
nMinimum Experience Required
nAt least 5 years of controls engineering experience in custom automation
n• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n• Proficiency in the design of electrical control systems, including power distribution, PLC configuration, and machine safety
n• High proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC’s and HMI’s, other platforms a plus
n• Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
n• Experience with robot programming (Epson, Adept, Fanuc)
n• Experience with vision programming (Cognex VisionPro & In-Sight, Keyence) • Experience working within MES and SCADA systems
n• Experience creating electrical and pneumatic schematics
n• Competent in MS Office: excel, word, power point
n• Able to travel by air or car (estimated 10%)
n• US citizen or authorization to work permanently for any Employer in the United States
