Controls EngineerPartnered with a well-established U.S. manufacturer that's continuing to invest heavily in automation and manufacturing technology across multiple facilities. They're looking to add experienced Controls Engineers to their corporate engineering team supporting either their Arizona or Iowa manufacturing site.
This role is focused around building new automations and standards into the existing facilities, not just maintaining existing systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys project work over production support. Rather than being tied to a single production line, you'll work on automation upgrades, new installations, commissioning, standards development, and controls improvements across multiple facilities.What You'll Be DoingDesign, develop and commission new plant automation and control systemsProgram and troubleshoot existing Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCsDevelop and improve HMI/SCADA applications (AVEVA/Wonderware preferred)Design control system architectures, panels and industrial networksDevelop corporate controls standards and automation best practicesIntegrate PLCs with SCADA, MES and SQL databasesSupport capital projects, equipment upgrades and new manufacturing installationsWhat They're Looking For:6+ years of Controls & Automation Engineering experienceStrong Allen-Bradley ControlLogix programming experienceHMI/SCADA development experience (AVEVA/Wonderware highly preferred)Experience with industrial networking and Ethernet/IPSQL and MES exposure is a plusExperience within Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, Dairy or other process manufacturing environments is highly desirableWhat's Offered:Annual performance bonusAnnual profit sharingRelocation assistanceExcellent long-term career growth with a highly stable manufacturing organizationOpportunity to work on large-scale automation and capital projects instead of day-to-day production support
