The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing the integration of generators, inverters, batteries, solar panels, embedded hardware/software, networking, and power controller products.Key Responsibilities:System Integration:Manage the integration of solar power subsystems including generators, inverters, battery storage systems, solar panels, embedded controllers, networking components, and power controllers from vendors like Vertiv, Eltek, and VictronConfigure and test Linux-based embedded hardware, Zephyr RTOS microcontrollers, networking equipment, and monitoring softwareDevelop integration plans, test procedures, and commissioning processes for each subsystemIdentify and resolve interoperability issues between different components and systemsSupport system startup, validation testing, and performance optimizationControls Programming:Program power control algorithms, SCADA interfaces, and operational logicIntegrate new equipment into existing monitoring and control systemsImplement data collection, reporting, and analytical toolsDocumentation and Reporting:Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and as-built drawingsGenerate progress reports and present updates to project stakeholdersAssist in commissioning and control system turnover to clientsCommunication Protocols:Integrate control devices using fieldbus technologies like RS485, Modbus RTU/TCP, and CAN busFamiliarity with SAE standard J1939Implement wired and wireless networking using Ethernet, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, NFC, etc.
